Campsis (Trumpet Vine)

Spectacular clusters of trumpet-shaped, orange to red flowers, about 3 inches across, bloom in midsummer on this fast-growing deciduous vine, which attracts hummingbirds. It reaches 25 to 30 feet, has coarse, dark green leaves, and clings by rootlike holdfasts that withstand high winds. It thrives in full sun and moist well-drained soil and is highly pest resistant.
