Salvias are some of the happiest flowers in our area. They love it here! Most are perennials here and love full sun, regular water (some are very drought-tolerant once established), and very minimal care. The flowers are what I call 'flag flowers,' because they look like bright-colored wispy flags. Salvias come in purple, pink, red, scarlet, blue violet, and yellow. Most will bloom all summer. Some bloom in both shade or sun. They grow in height anywhere from 6 inches to 8 feet tall.
Some of the varieties we carry now are: Santa Barbara, Black & Blue, Snow Hill (Meadow Sage), Mexican Bush Sage, Rhea, and Pineapple Sage.
