

Named after Pandora of Greek mythology, this genus, native to Australia, the Malay Archipelago and New Caledonia, contains around 6 species of twining climbers. they are grown for their spectacular, long-lasting display of tubular bell- or trumpet-shaped flowers and make good pergola or trellis subjects. They also have a dense covering of deep green, leathery , pinnate leaves and are attractive even when not in flower.
Pandorea jasminoides (Bower plant, Bower vine)
This attractive climber form Australia, up to 15 ft. tall, has deep green, glossy leaflets. Showy, pale pink trumpet flowers with deep carmine throats are borne from late spring to fall in warm climate. 'Lady Di' has white flowers with yellow throats.
