Cilantro

Cilantro, Coriandrum sativum, is an aromatic herb that is used in salsas etc. in Mexican food but also in Asian food. Cilantro is best grown in early Spring or Fall, the summers are hard on this plant. Can be grown in light shade in our climate. Cilantro is a bright green plant with fern like leaves. Cilantro grows quickly to about 1 1/2 ft tall. You can pick the leaves at any time.
